I just bought myself an Autopot hydroponic window box. Autopot is a really simple “off the shelf” hydroponic system based around the gravity fed Smart Valve – which basically only allows nutrients into your pots when they need it. You simply connect a reservoir of nutrient to the valve and let the Smart Valve take care of the rest. As long as you top up the reservoir every now and then, there really isn’t much else to do. Your plants will soak up the nutrients, and when they’re dry, the Smart Valve will release more nutrients for them. Hydroponics really doesn’t get any easier than this.
