If you want to get a laser sight for your rifle or air rifle, PLEASE keep in mind that that anything over 1mw (the maximum legal power in Australia) will probably be seized by Customs. Most of the Chinese laser sights are above 1mw, which is a shame, because a *legal* 1mw laser sight is enough to hit anything out to about 50 metres. If you want to buy a laser sight online – even if it’s a 1mw, buy from an Australian seller who already has the product ready to ship domestically – it might cost you a few more dollars, but it will be worth it to avoid any problems with Customs.
